If you can get past the 70s ski lodge décor (punched up with photos and paintings of musicians), Skinny J’s is a great place to relax and unwind with a variety of Italian classics, or take in live music later at night. With a low stage up front, wall-to-wall carpet and soft pine paneling, even if your are seated in the atrium overlooking the Outlook Hotel’s swimming pool, the sound is crisp and the fully stocked bar is close at hand. If you aren’t staying for the tunes, they deliver the Skinny (the whole menu) as late as 1 a.m. on the weekends. Put that in your pipe and smoke it—err, roll it.
