Has the inconvenient truth that was the basis of Gore's ranting caused an increase in humidity in Golden, or is there an alternate source of stuffiness? To their credit The Briarwood Inn does have plenty to be uppity about, including a copious amount of rave reviews from both local and national publications. They have an extensive wine list which pairs meals that are both ingenious and fresh, and a starter plate for dinner with cheeses and pates that rivals most 4 star restaurants. And should you feel compelled to start your drinking earlier in the day but wish to do so in a classy setting, high tea at the Briarwood is incomplete without scones and champagne. Pinkies up dearies, it's tea time.
