Have a cocktail, a shrimp cocktail that is
Ordering shrimp anything is a risky maneuver in Colorado. Let's just face the seafood music—finding fresh is hard to come by when you're hundreds of miles away from an ocean. But, after the recent success with The White Buffalo wings, we were feeling confident in ordering the shrimp cocktail as our second appetizer.
Verdict: The monstrous shrimp came out with a nice presententation. They were placed neatly around a cocktail glass with the sauce inside as the dangling shrimp hung off the sides, ready to be enjoyed. They were chilled perfectly, because nothing is worse than having sorta warm shrimp cocktail. The cocktail sauce was good with a spicy kick to it. The spiciness of the sauce definitely complemented the chilled shrimp. Let's just say the sauce made for a nice dance partner for the shrimp. We'll put it like this: The shrimp cocktail tasted, smelled and looked like a Bloody Mary. Which is okay by our standards.
Damage: $9.95
