Percolated Places: Special Edition

Our first stop: Cafe Colorado

Our first percolated place pit stop was at Cafe Colorado, which just opened a little over a week ago. Formerly Java Creek in Cherry Creek, Cafe Colorado is the new facelift of this caffeinated hub. Ben Donaldson and Craig Bratton bought Java Creek and gave it the ultimate facelift: tables with plush white tablecloths don the tables, a stage is being built for open mic nights and the pastry case will have dieters running the opposite direction.

Being open for a little over a week adds a lot of pressure to this new coffee place. But owner Ben Donaldson was up for the challenge.
