When you were a kid dessert was a tricky prospect. You always had to wait until after your meal and if you didn't finish all that was on your plate you were in danger of being denied a post-meal treat, which always seemed to be a bit of a contradiction since you were trying to save room for dessert in the first place. But now that we're all adults we can go to a place like D Bar Desserts and order whatever we want whenever we want. Delectable desserts is what this 17th Street cafe does best, but if you still feel guilty eating only dessert they do offer up sandwiches and salads so you can savor what you eat afterwards all the more.
