This isn’t your typical Cajun/ Creole eatery. Platte Canyon Grill is nothing less of traditional southern Louisiana cooking. But be prepared to be daring with menu items as wild as eggplant pirogue or barbecued shrimp. Even their breakfast is nothing to scoff at, as their morning plates served until 11 a.m. have a tasty southern kick. It is only a short drive to Bailey for great Louisiana fare.
