As a UK export myself, I’ve got to tell you, finding good English ‘nosh’ here is like looking for an American to know the significance of the 5^th of November! Yeah I’m not telling you the answer to that one, but I will tell you where to find the food. Moments away from the Rocky Mountain Municipal Airport, nestled inside the Hilltop Inn, you will find The Wildflower Tea Room. Serving up some classic British staples like roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, spotted dick (Stop sniggering) and bangers ‘n’ mash. The Wildflower puts to rest the idea that English food is brown and bland. Book a table for High tea and choose from a variety of options including homemade scones with clotted cream and jam; I can feel my arteries clogging from here, and I feel like I’m home. All that’s left to say is “put the kettle on would ya!”
