This California-based chain has expanded its locations and its menu offerings. What began as a pizzeria has morphed into an extensive menu of sophisticated pub food selections, many with an updated cross-cultural accent. Sandwiches, soups and salads are all represented, along with the pizzas that started it all and an assortment of microbrews. Standouts include the Avocado Egg Rolls with sweet tamarind sauce, which fuse avocado, cream cheese, chipotle pepper and pine nuts into a satisfying mélange of flavor profiles, and the Italian Chopped Salad.
