And the winner is…
The Sink
1165 13th St.
Boulder, CO 80302Neighborhood: The Hill
The Sink is keeping the college “Hill” alive with its righteous location and crazy wall art, since 1923. We bet you are needing a juicy story to go with your juicy ‘Sink’ burger, eh? Guess who was once scrubbing the floors and picking up plates?! None other than Robert Redford, we kid you not. Yuppers, that’s correct-o-mundo. The Sink has its history. The walls are smothered in colorful caricatures of many people, some famous, some not-so-famous. Either way, The Sink has low ceilings and floor to ceiling artwork. Pizza is their specialty. Once you’re done with your slice, go ahead, dip that crust in honey—that’s the way of the pro “Sinksters.

Denver, CO 80222Neighborhood: DU
Is your appetite bigger than your wallet? Has anyone ever asked if they need to own a pizzeria to date you? Well, maybe the later part is just us. But if you like a good challenge, step on in to Beau Jo's. If you and a friend can eat one of their 13-15 pound pizzas, covered in every meat and veggie the kitchen can muster, in under an hour, you'll walk out of there with $100, a couple of t-shirts and the desire to never eat pizza again. You can also just stop in for one of their mouth-watering mountain pies and earn it the American way- charging it of course.
Angelo's
620 E. 6th Ave.
Denver, CO 80203Neighborhood: Capitol Hill
Angelo's is known for their pizza they whip out of the kitchen. With 30 plus toppings to add onto your dough of love, it's tough to decide on which kind you want. Good thing they have some specialty pizzas like the "Downtowner" which is topped with chicken, basil and roasted bell peppers. Either way, they know their way around pizza dough. Enough said.
Tony P's 17th Avenue
777 East 17th Avenue
Denver, CO 80209Neighborhood: 17th Avenue / Up Town
New York! Bianca! Sicilian! Oh my! Three types of pizza combine to make up what many people think of as the "ne plus ultra" of Italian flat-pie in Denver. Toppings range from traditional to nuevo Italiano, and the sizes run from personal (12”) to holy-crap-that’s-huge! (18”). They make their own dough and bread, and the focaccia is particularly wicked. Have a pie, have a sub, have some pasta, or just pop in for dessert and you won’t be disappointed. All Pasquini's locations are nominated.
