Reiver's Restaurant

The slurred warbles of a drunk soccer mom belting out the lyrics to "My Heart Will Go On" waft up and down Old South Gaylord Street. It must be Wednesday karaoke night at Reiver's. Wash Park residents normally like to keep the neighborhood in the low-decibel ranges, but you only live once, right? Next up is Richard from South Vine Street. His chicken fried steak has just begun to agree with him, and after washing it down with 3 pints of Guinness, there's nothing he can't do. "Springsteen. Glory Days." He barks to Uncle Dutchie the DJ as he grabs the microphone. It's all in good fun. Just be sure to keep a garbage can nearby; Richard's looking pretty woozy.
