Built on the site of the Pony Express and with views of the Continental Divide, you can’t get any more historic than El Rancho. Only 18 minutes from downtown Denver, it is worth the drive up I-70, especially for their elk and buffalo wontons or their champagne brunch on Sundays. Its rustic charm and traditional Colorado cuisine only add to the breathtaking view.
