The days of the crooner are over. Michael Buble aside, no one sings like Sinatra anymore, or knows how to make a fedora look cool. That’s what makes Charlie Brown’s so wonderful. This charming piano bar is a throwback to the old days of smoky bars and palpable heartbreak, especially when Paul Lopez commands the ivories on Tuesday nights. The menu covers a staggering amount of territory, with everything from gyros – which draw raves – to Mexican, Italian, and good old American steak-and-potatoes.
