If you'd like the experience of being stared down by whatever type of animal you're having for dinner then by all means head on over to Buckhorn Exchange. Eating rare Rocky Mountain treats such as buffalo, rattlesnake and Rocky Mountain oysters in a room filled with stuffed versions of such animals can be a little creepy, but the experience is worth it. This is Denver's oldest restaurant - they have liquor license #1 - and the staff is extremely knowledgeable about the different meats. They are also very friendly. Don't forget to kick back with an after dinner drink in the old-timey saloon. Afterall, you may need it after what you just ate.
