Aquino's Cafe

If it weren’t for the brightly painted windows, you would most likely miss this diamond in the rough. Aquino’s Café reminds me of the hole in the wall diners that detectives would grab coffee in at two in the morning. There is the usual tables and chairs seating, and then there is the U-shaped counter in the middle of the place that let’s you watch other patrons eat a weeks worth of calories from one plate. The staff is friendly and personable, but there is definitely the vibe that one shouldn’t bring their kids to Aquino’s, even if there is a kid’s menu.
