That 70's Show: The Complete Series Stash Box (Fox)
By Paul Semel, Special to Metromix
Fall is a special time, one that brings color to the leaves, cooler temperatures and, as it turns out, a rather large number of DVD box sets that collect the entire runs of TV shows. But before you venture out into the cold (possibly slipping on some leaves), take a look at our rundown of the best complete series DVDs coming out this month.
First up: Set in the me decade, this sitcom followed Eric Foremen and his friends as they hung out in his basement, doing things to improve their glaucoma.
Best Extra: “A ’70s Flashback: Laura Prepon” featurette because we wish we knew a girl like Donna when we were kids in the ’70s.
Price: $199.98
Available: October 14
Why you need it: Because the episodes that air in reruns these days are edited, and that just harshes our mellow, man.
