Veterans and newbies play this year's tour
The Warped tour has become a yearly tradition since its creation in the mid-90s, and some of the bands that played the early years of the tour were back again this year, along with a lineup of incredible young bands to create the perfect storm of rocking goodness. Bands like Bad Religion, NOFX and The Bouncing Souls have played the Warped Tour more than most can count, and were still rocking the stage this year in the sun-splashed parking lot of Invesco Field.
As far as the new talent goes, bands like The Devil Wears Prada, Underoath and TAT gave a fresh vibe to the festival. Thousands gathered around five stages to sing along to every lyric belted out by bands that range in style from punk rock to electro-pop. Plenty of vendors were selling band shirts, stickers and plenty of good causes to represent. And as tradition goes for the Warped Tour, there was a skate ramp for those who wanted to compliment their music experience with some ramp time.
Don't worry, Colorado was represented in the lineup with Single File and the mighty 3OH!3 as the headliners of the festival. Looks like the Warped Tour outdid themselves again.
