Ludacris and LMFAO roll out with Fergie and company
The Black Eyed Peas packed Pepsi Center Saturday, running through their hits and putting on a mindbending, futuristic visual show.
All four of the Peas rocked Trontastic costumes as they stormed down a runway, backed by special effects including cyborg speakers, martial arts-style wirework and a giant green holographic narrator. Interestingly, solo phenom Fergie shared headlining time with D.J. will.i.am, who also ran an afterparty at Beta later in the evening.
Earlier, Ludacris reminded the crowd just how many mid-2000s hip-hop hits he made, running through tracks such as "Ho" and "Throw Them Bows" to spectacular effect while shedding some light on his newer work. Trash rappers LMFAO did their best Michael Jackson impressions (minus the talent but plus some irony), altering their signature song "I'm In Miami Bitch" to namecheck Denver.
