The bombs, busts and duds of 2010, from Xtina, Adam, Courtney and 17 other underachievers
Unless your name is Taylor, Marshall or Gaga, 2010 was probably not a banner year for your burgeoning music career. Instead, as befits these recessionary times, pretty much everyone in the music business took a hit, especially in that dwindling but still all-important category, album sales. Some were actually pretty good, some were downright terrible, but all fell well short of even the 2010 record industry’s diminished expectations.—Andy Hermann, Metromix
