Post-hardcore bands launch new tour at Summit Music Hall
Taking Back Sunday returned to the stage in Denver Tuesday night, bringing the New York rock outfit 's original lineup together for its first tour in nearly a decade.
Guitarist/vocalist John Nolan and bassist Shaun Cooper, who left shortly after the band's first taste of mainstream success in 2003, returned to the group in fine form. Nolan and frontman Adam Lazzara seemed genuinely happy to be back in business, trading the dueling hardcore vocals that first got the band noticed on tracks such as "Cute Without the 'E' (Cut from the Team)" and "You're So Last Summer." The band also lavished attention on more recent hits like "MakeDamnSure" and "What's It Feel Like to Be a Ghost?"
