Colorado's music stars rocked The Ogden for the state's new Governor
Ladies and gents, there's a new governor in town. John Hickenlooper, Colorado's 42nd governor, was inaugurated Tuesday night and Denver was itchin' to celebrate. After dinner at the Fillmore, Metromix hopped over to the Ogden Theatre to join the fun where OneRepublic and Devotchka rocked on in celebration of the new governor.
The fun kicked off at 9 p.m. when special surprise guest, local eclectic rockers Devotchka, played to the pumped-up Colorado crowd. OneRepublic took over at 10:30 p.m. and kept the celebratory concert flowing with their latest hits. The party lasted well into the night with best wishes and high hopes for the future of Colorado with its new head honcho.
