What a great show-incredible music, an awesome turnout. Kevin, Tim & crew, thanks so much for doing this and thanks for your amazing support of KGNU.

Oh sooo funky music and oh so funky smells! Why can't hippies find a better smelling body odor cover-up than that piney smelling perfume. Regardles...

Mountain Sun Brewery funks up the Boulder Theater
As of Oct. 5, the Mountain Sun Brewery has officially been serving the Boulder community some of the best beer around for 15 years. Along with Southern Sun and Vine Street pub, they decided a little "show" of appreciation was necessary to all those who have been valiantly downing their brew for the last decade and a half.
Oct. 19 they threw the "Funky Good Times" benefit for KGNU Community Radio at the Boulder Theater. The concert featured George Porter Jr. from The Funky Meters, Kyle Hollingsworth from String Cheese Incident, Eric Krasno from Soul Live, Adam Deitch from Lettuce and Average White Band, Hazel Miller from the Hazel Miller Band and The 14th Street Horns (Dominic Lalli, Danny Sears, and Jon Stewart).
As they put it over at Mountain Sun, "It's been a crazy, long, strange and a wonderful trip! We could not have had this kind of success without such wonderful community support."
But who are we kidding? We should be the ones saying thank you…
