Wu-Tang legend kills it in Boulder
This Halloween in Boulder it was time to get your rap on like a mummy, or whatever costume you decided on. Wu-Tang member Ghostface Killah graced The Fox Theatre on Saturday night to give an extra option for those party goers looking to light up the night with some fantastic hip hop.
Streams of CU students, and those just looking to find a party crowded the streets on The Hill, looking for something to make this year’s Halloween a memorable one. The Fox was packed with hip hop fans putting their hands in the air like they just don’t care.
DJ Cavem warmed things up with a lengthy set of old school and classic jams for y’all to vibe with. A little Thriller, a little James Brown…. A perfect mix to get all of those in costume to get their booty dance on. Then Skyzoo followed up, with a lively set including several tracks from his latest album. Finally, the one and only Ghostface Killah rocked the stage. The crowd was on fire as his DJ spun the beat to compliment the talented lyricist. At one point Ghostface let everyone know he specifically picked Boulder because he knew the crowd would be one of his favorites of the tour. It was the perfect start for all of those bound to hit a house party later in Boulder this Halloween!
