Ten Colorado acts we think will make it big

Oftentimes, Denver still gets labeled a cow town when it comes to anything relating to the arts. That may be true in some senses, but when it comes to music, the Front Range has been making a name for itself lately. Just in the past few years, some of the biggest acts to grace the stage across the good ol' U.S.A. are from right here in our own back yard. Case in point: The Fray, Devotchka, The Flobots, 3OH!3 and more. These bands have been working overtime winning Grammys, touring Europe, selling a truckload of albums, and best of all carving out a reputable place in the music scene for Colorado.

So now that we are beginning to get the respect we deserve, who else is bound to find their way into the spotlight from our great state? That's why we're here, folks. Metromix is where you find everything else cool in the world, and we'd like to tack on a list of local bands and musical artists that we feel have a pretty good chance of making it big in the very near future. We've found a few groups that may still be practicing in the garage or their own living rooms, but are starting to get some serious momentum. We give you the top 10 bands we think will make it big from the Front Range.
