1st Bank Center hosts one heck of a fundraiser
Broomfield was the site of a massive collaborative fundraising event of totally epic proportions. Held at the 1stBank Center, 6,500 tickets were sold to the sold out Fourmile Revival Benefit concert. All proceeds are going to the Boulder Mountain Fire Relief Fund. The group supports local volunteer fire fighters that helped battle the recent blaze as well as support the residents whose lives were impacted by the fire. The Conscious Alliance was also in fine style by hosting a food drive for the Boulder Community Food Share.
Some folks traveled from across the country to show their support and to also see a music lineup that will go down in the history books. The bill was packed with favorites from the jam scene such as: Leftover Salmon, Yonder Mountain String Band, Big Head Todd and The Monsters, The String Cheese Incident and members of Phish.
Guest appearances were happening left and right during the various sets including a mouth-watering appearance by Trey Anastasio of Phish during the String Cheese Incident. It was anticipated that $300,000 would be raised for the relief fund and people are still able to help out if they can.
