Cali-punk smackdown: Green Day vs. Blink-182
This summer, two of the most popular punk trios in history are hitting the road on major new tours: Green Day and Blink-182. Both bands emerged out of California in the ‘90s (Green Day from the Bay Area; Blink from San Diego) to revitalize (some would say bastardize) punk rock at a time when it seemed like the genre might be running out of steam. But which band is more worthy of your summer punk-pop dollars?
