These albums are little fringe. Best so far (by far) are MOJO by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Jack Johnson - By the Sea.

Our half-year faves
As with the economy, music in 2010 so far seems healthier than it was in 2009, but not by much. That Eminem’s middling comeback album keeps breaking short-term sales records should tell us plenty. But there have been some bright spots.
