Not just a spot to kick it
Taking a soccer complex and turning it into five stages for 45 different bands over a two-day music extravaganza is no small task. Not to mention the bathrooms. Dick’s Sporting Goods Park proved it is worthy of being in the same classification, if not upstaging its local venue brethren of the Pepsi Center and Invesco, even if it is located in Commerce City. The stadium itself wasn’t even a focal point, as it was the exterior fields that turned into the audible playground for the festival that will inevitably become a Colorado staple.
