The weather apparently has an affinity for Jack Johnson. The crowd at Red Rocks went wild, cheering for their good fortune when Johnson tweaked the lyrics to his popular song Banana Pancakes, melodically improvising “Well can’t you see it’s not raining?”
As rain soaked most of the weekend, the clouds departed late Sunday afternoon and the thousands of fans, some who traveled from across the country to see their favorite singer in the iconic amphitheater, were treated to the ideal concert this past Sunday, Aug. 17.

“The best I have ever seen,” said a fan from the West Coast on her fifth concert following Johnson. “This might have ruined me for all the other Jack shows to come. He’s always amazing, but this might just be the top.”
