Put the cake in the trunk everyone get down

A typically gorgeous Colorado afternoon turned into an epic evening as Bisco Inferno left Red Rocks simmering in the after effects of a musical wildfire. Helping to prove that the East Coast isn’t the only place capable of handling a Bisco-centric festival was Orchard Lounge, the New Deal, Lotus, RJD2, DJ Z-Trip, Paul Oakenfold and, of course, the Disco Biscuits who were making their first appearance as headliners at the legendary Colorado amphitheater.
The Biscuits were determined to leave their mark, and according to bassist Mark Brownstein, were performing the latest any act had ever played at the Morrison venue, a distinction we believe the band probably holds at several other clubs, theaters, field grounds, boats, islands, etc. While any night at Red Rocks is momentous to begin with, throw in a 20-person stretch Escalade from A Five Star Limousine, good friends from across the country and almost 10 hours of music, and the experience turns into something bordering on indescribable. That's how Metromix rolls.
