I have to agree with every one of these posts. The Good, The Bad, and The Queen is a departure from the stuff that Albarn has previously done, but just because the mood of the album is darker doesn't mean that it should be dismissed as a failure. Herculean and The History Song spent a long time in rotation on my iPod, and sitting down to listen to the entire album was an enjoyable experience for me.

What a witless article! Clearly the reviewer must have been distracted during Herculean, Nature Springs, Behind the Sun, Northern Whale and The Good, The Bad & The Queen. The other tracks may have been more downbeat but they are beautiful, Mozart or Radiohead could be considered downbeat but does everything have to be asinine? I suggest Britney Spears or The Jonas Brothers might be a better match for the reviewers’ fragile temperament.

I enjoyed this too. Pretty much everything that Damon Albarn and Danger Mouse have touched has been auralgasmic. I love how they genre-mash. And if you check it out on Metacritic it got mostly positive reviews. 76 out of 100 based on 38 reviews.

Not only do I disagree with the inclusion of this nifty project, I believe that whoever chose it for inclusion is evil and bad and probably hates Jesus and America.
