My first thought for this list was the DKs. While I listened to, and continue to, a lot of the other bands on the list, the DKs were the band that made the biggest impact on me. I guess that's why I saw them when they came through on their first Jello-less reunion tour with Brandon Cruz. I'm not going to lie and say they weren't good, 'cause they were. It was definitely different, but it was decent. Cruz had experience fronting a band with Dr. Know, so it wasn't just some washed up child actor trying to be edgy. But like I said, it wasn't the same as I'd imagine as a Jello fronted DK lineup. Look at some of Edward Colver's photos of the original line up. Insanity. East Bay Ray was a bit of a dick on the reunion tour though. Dude needed to relax and play more of his surfy guitar leads and yell at the crowd less.
