If you've ever been to a colonial-era New England church where the prominent families had their own boxes then you'll have an idea as to how the Oriental Theater is arranged. Except instead of being subjected to fire and brimstone sermons you'll be treated to music, art, comedy, movies and other cultural events. Originally constructed in the 20s, the Oriental harkens back to a time when the theater experience included ornate decor and luxurious surroundings. Though not as pristine as it once was, this place exudes character.
