Club promoter/DJ/bon vivant Larry Tee invented the term "electroclash" in 2001, when he coined it to name an electronic music festival he was hosting in New York. In the New York club scene, Tee is something of a legend; he was part of the late '80s "Club Kids" crew portrayed in the film "Party Monster" and helped launch the careers of everyone from RuPaul to Scissor Sisters. Tee describes his latest album, "Club Badd" (due out May 5), as "not only a dance party album extrodinaire [sic], but it is also like youtube/mysoace.com [sic] the musical." Want proof? Tee enlisted gossip blogger Perez Hilton to, um, "sing" on a track called "My Penis."
