Miss Kittin

France's leading contribution to the electroclash movement, Miss Kittin is best-known for her collaborations with French techno/electro producer Michel Amato, aka the Hacker. Their 2001 album, called simply "First Album," featured a song called "Frank Sinatra" that is arguably electroclash's signature anthem, a hypnotically trashy techno/disco hybrid whose lyrics involve having sex in limosuines and sucking body parts we're pretty sure Miss Kittin isn't actually endowed with. After various solo releases and collaborations with other artists, Kittin has reteamed with the Hacker for a second album called (you'll never guess) "Two," due out this May.
