Hottest summer jam: Kristinia DeBarge, 'Goodbye'

Yeah, we never really expected to be dropping the words “hottest” and “DeBarge” in the same sentence, either. But the debut single from Kristinia (daughter of James DeBarge, keyboardist from the ‘80s pop/R&B family act DeBarge) does for “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye” what Kid Rock did for “Sweet Home Alabama,” reinventing a tired old radio staple (and stadium sing-along) as an irresistible summertime anthem.
