Dark, atmospheric and often unhinged, Bad Luck City has a serious crush on Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. But with a matter-of-factly creepy growl like singer Dameon Merkl's in the arsenal, how could they not? What sets them apart, though, is the counterpoint Kelly O'Dea's sweetly sad voice and violin provides to the standard skulking.
