The buzz: The third album from Canadian electronic pop duo Junior Boys (Matt Didemus and Jeremy Greenspan) is the first to be recorded long-distance, as the two flew between Greenspan’s studio in Canada and Didemus’ new home in Germany.

The verdict: More miles were traveled in order to craft this album, yet the easygoing boogie feel of these songs is as effortless as on the Boys' previous releases. Even the tune that’s dubbed “Work” is simple to process: a gentle take on disco and house music’s time-honored tradition to “work it” on the dancefloor. This LP's highlight is the single “Hazel,” with its ‘80s funk-styled keyboard stabs and memorable melody.

Did you know? "Begone Dull Care" was named after a film of the same name by the late animator Norman McLaren, who released work with Canada’s National Film Board for many years. The song “The Animator” is also about McLaren.
