It's a marriage-to-be made in music heaven. Right?
People is reporting that pop singer Avril Lavigne is engaged to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. (Did anybody even know they were an item?)
According to People, the Canadian pop stars started dating six months ago when they met to collaborate on a song for Lavigne's next studio album. Kroeger proposed on Aug. 8, People says.
Kroeger, 37, has never been married; Lavigne, 27, was previously married to Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley. They divorced in 2010.
