A lot of modern alt-country bands seem to forget about the "country" side of the equation. The Hollyfelds are not one of them. Eryn Hoerig and Kate Grigsby's two-part vocals are more June Carter than Taylor Swift, and the instrumentation incorporates plenty of banjo and cowbell.
