What do the numbers mean?
Question: In the early days of "Lost," the single biggest mystery was the darn numbers. They appear on Hurley's winning lotto ticket, the door of the hatch, Kate's trial documents and umpteen other places throughout the series. Who devised them and what's the meaning of their greater significance?
Answered? Not really. We do find out that each of the numbers coordinates with one of the remaining candidates, but we don't know how 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 became the winning combination. (But we will be playing that combo this coming Sunday... just in case.)
