I was surprised to find that I really enjoyed this movie. Jim Carrey has calmed down a bit, but he definitely had some of his usual schtick in there. I love Zooey Deschanel so I thoroughly enjoyed the paring of her with Carrey (which I thought would seem odd, but it fit!) I expected this to be Liar Liar all over again, but this was almost like a more grown up version! All in all, a fun, easy-to-watch comedy.

if you like Jim Carrey's recent movies and enjoy the usual formula, then you'll like this movie. To me this Jim Carey movie is like a dessert dish who's recipe is preparede exactly and served in a different pan or dish.
