What a difference eight years makes...

The 2001 sleeper hit "The Fast and the Furious" spawned one of the most unlikely film franchises in recent history. A bunch of hot people drive even hotter cars through silly B-movie plots while flavor of the minute hip-hop pulses on the soundtrack. And it all happens really fast. And really furiously.

Although the cast has changed with each sequel, the original quartet of "Furious" stars returns for the fourth installment, "Fast & Furious," opening April 3. But are they showing their allegiance to the property that made them stars, or simply happy to get the work?
