Thanks to “Juno,” the whole world knows the sly, sarcastic (and Academy Award-nominated) Page. But back in 2005, few audiences knew what to expect from her starring role in the indie thriller “Hard Candy.” First seen as an underage girl in a red hoodie who agrees to go home with the creepy guy she meets in a coffee shop, Page’s character turns the tables in her own version of “To Catch a Predator.” Except there’s never been a NBC news special that included a real-time castration in a kitchen.
