Send Hunger Packing
Many celebrities have come to Denver for the DNC. The only difference for Ben Affleck? He came to spread the word about hunger in the U.S., instead of discussing his thoughts on Obama; Vice Presidential candidate, Joe Biden; or even Hillary Clinton's speech. One unfortunated journalist asked Mr. Affleck a rather political question and was quickly halted with the response, "I know this is a political week, but I am here for this cause."
Affleck was at the Food Bank of the Rockies to participate in a repack event for America's Second Harvest a.k.a. The Nation's Food Bank Network. Other competitors included members of the Senate Hunger Caucus and members of the House. The repack event was all about who could pack the most boxes of food in five minutes.With that said, we never thought watching people stuff boxes with food would be so exciting. But when it involves Ben, anything is exciting.
Who won? Ben Affleck, naturally.
