Alex Jimenez has been a photographer and writer for Metromix Denver from the start. He is a University of Colorado at Denver student by day, but by night Alex doubles as a restaurant reviewin’, bar hoppin’, concert coverin’, theatre critiquin’ Denverite.
As a former pre-veterinary medical student, Alex welcomes any opportunity to cover animal-related events. You can bet that he has been all over many of the pooch-clad parties found on Metromix. If he isn't out with his "family" (three dogs and his gorgeous girlfriend), find Alex all week long on Auraria Campus with his nose in the books (sort of), and capturing the shenanigans around town in the evenings thereafter — camera and pen always in hand.
His favorite pastimes are soccer, camping, running around the dog park with his pooches, and kickin' back with a Stella Artois in hand.
