We sat in the balcony theatre section on Comedy Works last night. Has anyone else ever fallen from the horrible stairs that lead to your seat? There must be a 21" drop off of the cement stairs when you go to sit down at your seat. Poor design and very unsafe. They told me I was the only one to ever fall down. I missed most of the final act because I was trying to tell a manager what happened. I wasn't offered ice and they were VERY rude to me! No apologies, just made me feel stupid...

This past Easter weekend I went a little crazy at Comedy Works south. Not only did I see a show on Saturday night but I also went their Sundy brunch. The venue at the south club is really nice and modern (totally different feel from the one downtown- a lot more space). The parking is very accessable, esp. compared to downtown (even though I like that club too). We liked the venue and comedia so much, that we decided to stay around for drinks after the show in their lounge.
On Sunday we were enjoyed a great brunch, the food was excellent (great southern style cooking)! There were a lot of people but lines for food seemed to move a good pace. My only issue, was we sat in the balcony section and there is not a lot of room to enjoy a meal... The entertainment was good and overall we had a great time and hopefully will do it again.
