Like Porky Pig says, "That's All, Folks!"
Welp, that’s about all she wrote for the Nuggets this year. It was an unbelievable run in the playoffs, and if the result would have been based on the intensity of fans, the Nuggets would have won it all this year. Brooklyn’s Bar and Grill, across the street from The Pepsi Center was flooded with diehard Nugs fans prepping to root for their team before the game on Friday. Fans enjoyed a great party atmosphere with beverages and appetizers on the patio as well as inside.
It was Carmelo Anthony’s birthday on Friday as well, and some fans were celebrating that as well, by adorning birthday hats and Melo jerseys. Vendors outside the bar and restaurant provided all sorts of t-shirts for sale to commemorate the Nuggets playoff spot such as “Park Hill” (Chauncey Billups neighborhood growing up) or “The Fakers” shirts. Denver’s Basketball team couldn’t have been supported more.
And, hey, even though they lost, we can still sit back and look at how much fun Denver had while it lasted.
