Lucky Strike Lanes supports cause, rocks mustaches
Most people are familiar with Mustache March: the glorious, chivalrous and all around entertaining month in which we bear witness to coworkers everywhere slowly transforming a Tuesday morning stubble into a full blown moooostache. But why stop there? And why stop at doing it just for the sake of simple entertainment? Well, the world of mustache madness doesn't — hence ‘Movember.'
‘Movember' is a worldwide movement that takes place during the month of November each year in which participants grow mustaches to raise awareness for men's health. We are now at the tail end of the month-long charity event, so theoretically those ‘staches should be looking quite burly.
In honor of cause, Lucky Strike Lanes held its 2nd Annual Strike Out Cancer, which embraces the hairy situation by donating proceeds to Livestrong and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
The event featured cheap drinks, discounted games, a raffle and a sports themed silent auction which included signed memorabilia by none other than the national champions, the Colorado Rapids!
