Fireworks at Coors Field, during and after the game
Define: fireworks. Usually what comes to mind is beautiful, celebratory bursts of color in the night sky, accompanied by loud booms. But, on July 4 at Coors Field, the real fireworks were on the field. The Colorado Rockies treated sell-out crowd to a franchise record comeback after being down 9 runs. The teams combined to score 35 runs and the Rockies slugged 6 home runs. In the end, the Rockies were victorious 18-17 and we got plenty of post-game shots of those traditional “fireworks” high in the LoDo sky for you to feast your eyes on.
