Hilarious check points brought racers all over town
CityChase unveiled their 'Amazing Race' style scavenger hunt in Denver this weekend sending locals scurrying to various downtown check points using public transportation or their trusty legs to get from place to place.
Metromix.com was lucky to sponsor the race and one of the check points at the new location of Moe's Original BBQ at 6th and Broadway. CityChase participants had to walk on stilts to decide their partner's fate. If you landed on pigs feet, milk bone, or spicy wings then your partner had no choice but to break for lunch and chow down on some less than delightful grub. If you were lucky your CityChase partner would take their circus stilts to the very end and land on "nothing" so you and you partner's taste buds would remain untouched and you could be on your way to the next check point.
Other various check point locations had CityChasers build the best cupcake penis at Le Bakery Sensual, ride a bull for :10 at Cowboy Lounge, slide down a ginourmous water slide at Aquarium Downtown, and that's just the tip of the iceberg!
Couples, family members, and friends showed their true colors much like a reality show but in the end all had a blast with this new city-wide adventure. All proceeds from the day went to North High School and many of their student athletes volunteered to work the race.
